DescriptionIf you create software, that needs direct access to the files or partitions of your disks (including hard drives and flash disks), you have probably faced the restrictions, imposed by Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems. Windows 7 and Windows Vista don't allow you to access the disks from user-mode processes at all. Windows XP prevents your from using raw access to disks if the application is run under restricted (non-administrative) account. All systems won't let you open the file, if it's exclusively opened by another application or if security settings (permissions) don't let you access the file. RawDisk™ effectively solves this problem by providing a kernel-mode driver for use with your applications. Using this driver you can read and write the data from/to the disk or opened files without any restrictions. Also you can delete a locked or in other way inaccessible file. All you need to do is add two extra function calls to your application. Note, that to install the driver your application must be run under administrative account or under another account which has permissions to install the driver. Miss a feature?
