Storing the Private Key Password should not be done (by option). Everytime on mounting I should be asked (or with Putty Agent, see another suggestion)

If you like the idea, vote for it on https://www.eldos.com/sftp-net-drive/wishlist.php

In my situation I would like to have the password stored into the cfg-file for a server.
As long as the command line options for SFTP Net Drive are not available my automated script edits the CFG-file and then starts SFTP Net Drive.
If I want to connect to a machine that needs a PPK-file, this works fine.
But for connecting to machines that need a password I do not see a chance to insert the password (as plain text) into the CFG-file, so that it I just need to connect (without any more GUI actions) after starting SFTP Net Drive.

Is there a way to store the Password into the CFG-file?

Thank you!
Juergen

Passwords are encrypted when writing to CFG files. So by now there is no way to put a password into CFG file in plain text.
